Announcement of Membership Committee and Committee Chair
The Florida Association of Health Plans is pleased to announce the development of a Membership Committee. Effective immediately, FAHP is adding a Membership Committee to represent the interests and perspectives of our more than forty Associate Member organizations.
The Board recognizes the importance of maintaining an open, direct line of communication with all members—including vendors and industry partners. To support this commitment, the Board has selected Adam Kustin to serve as the inaugural Committee Chair. Adam brings deep relationships across the vendor landscape and is a trusted partner within the health plan community.
Adam will co-chair FAHP’s newly created Membership Committee alongside FAHP Board Chairman Orlando Pryor. The committee will focus on Associate Member satisfaction, identify new programs and sources of value, and support recruitment of new Associate Members.
The Membership Committee will meet quarterly and base its recommendations on direct input from associate members. The first input vehicle is a brief survey to gather feedback from current Associate Members. Approximately 30 days after the announcement, Adam and Orlando will host a teleconference to share survey results, outline the committee’s workplan, and preview any proposed changes to membership benefits.
FAHP is committed to elevating the member experience. The creation of the Membership Committee is an important step towards strengthening engagement and ensuring Associate Members receive meaningful value throughout the year.
