Adam Beck is Senior Vice President of Commercial, Product & Employer Policy at AHIP. Over the past decade at AHIP, he helped launch the Coalition Against Surprise Medical Billing and has been a key figure in drafting and implementing the No Surprises Act. He is also an adjunct professor in the College of Health Professions at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to joining AHIP, he was assistant professor of health insurance at The American College and director of the MassMutual Center for Special Needs. Earlier, he worked on the 2008 and 2012 campaigns of President Barack Obama and in the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his law degree from Temple University, a master’s degree from The American College, and is a graduate of The George Washington University
