The Florida Association of Health Plans is currently soliciting presentation abstracts that dive deep into the Member/Consumer Experience, as well as other emerging healthcare topics for our annual conference October 12-14, 2026.  We are particularly interested in presentations that showcase fresh research, real-world results, innovative programs and strategies that have successfully strengthened care quality, access to care, patient engagement and service design.  

Conference sessions will primarily fall under one of the following content areas:

  • Technology & AI Implementation:
    • Leveraging Generative AI for Claims Processing and Member Experience.
    • Integrating Digital Health Tools and Remote Monitoring for Chronic Care.
    • Data Security and Interoperability in 2026.
  • Health Equity & Social Drivers:
    • Addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) in Risk Adjustment.
    • Reducing Disparities in Maternal and Cardiovascular Health Outcomes.
  • Value-Based Care & Strategy:
    • Shifting from Fee-for-Service to Outcomes-Based Contracting.
    • Implementing Proactive Population Health Management.
    • Strategies in Utilization Management
  • Workforce & Consumerism:
    • Strategies to Address Healthcare Workforce Shortages.
    • Enhancing Member Engagement and Experience.
  • Trending Clinical Issues:
    • Navigating Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Access.
    • Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Important Guidelines to Note:

  • Speaking engagements will primarily consist of the following presentation formats:

    -a 10–15-minute lightning round/TED-talk style on main ballroom stage
    -a collaborative panel discussion for 30-45 minutes, featuring multiple experts on a shared topic on the main ballroom stage. 
    -30-minute breakout session (not a guaranteed format but under consideration)

  • All speaking opportunities must be non-branded and exclude any marketing or sales pitch but focus solely on education, learning, and data sharing.  (Branded presentations are available through various sponsorship opportunities - see our Prospectus)

Location: JW Marriott Bonnet Creek, Orlando, FL

Abstract Submission Deadline:  March 16, 2026

Timeline:  Notices of acceptances or declines will be sent no later than May 30, 2026. 

Abstract must include:

  • Speaker name, bio, and contact information
  • Proposed health care topic
  • Proposed presentation title
  • A detailed description of your contributable content.
  • Please include any supporting whitepapers or data (if applicable)
  • Any prior speaking experience or video links (optional)
